Donuts with Dads!
What a fantastic turnout - We loved seeing all the dads joining our students Wednesday morning.
Career on Wheels!
On October 12th, our prek, first and second graders participated in our first annual Career on Wheels. Students were led through 9 stations where volunteers shared information on their career, how they use wheels for their job and encouraged our students to do well in school.
The students loved seeing the vehicles in action. We would like to thank our community partners for making this event a success. Participants were

  • City of Columbus - Recycling, Street Sweeper and Water transport
  • Columbus Fire Department - Station 32
  • Columbus Police Department
  • 107.5
  • Classic Limousine
  • Yay Bikes
  • ForJak Industrial

  • We look forward to having this event again next year!

Wondering what's up with your students MAP Test???

Each year, 3 times a year, students take a MAP  (Measures of Academic Progress) test. They take a begining of the year test in September, a mid year test in January and an end of year test in May.

MAP® Growth™ measures what students know and informs what they’re ready to learn next. By dynamically adjusting to each student’s performance, MAP Growth creates a personalized assessment experience that accurately measures performance—whether a student performs on, above, or below grade level. Timely, easy-to-use reports help teachers teach, students learn, and administrators lead.

MAP Growth reveals how much growth has occurred between testing events and, when combined with our norms, shows projected proficiency. Educators can track growth through the school year and over multiple years.

For more information view the MAP Parent Guide.
